spring & summer dresses

i'm ridiculously giddy for spring & summer. i really can hardly wait. i bought 3 bunches of daffodils yesterday to brighten up my kitchen table and i keep wearing short sleeved shirts out...and then i regret not wearing a coat....because, well....it's still cold.

i have been drooling over this fabric for a while and decided that i am going to do a line of spring & summer dresses for the shop out of it.

don't the colors just scream warmer weather? they are from anna maria horner's (shocking, huh?) dobby voile collection. you can read more about voile on her post today.

they are going to be very basic dresses (but oh, so cute) so that they can easily be layered with cardigans, worn to the beach, or paired with some tights & flats. after all, affordable & functional is my aim here.

if they sell well i will for sure sell some at the farmer's market, which i am also pumped about.

my dad is here & we are about to go pick up my mom from the airport in montrose (funny story)

happy weekend!

love.
