colored walls & grace.

i think taking portraits of people in front of brightly colored walls is so fun. see here for proof.

lucky for us, almost every building and wall here is brightly painted, which makes things easy. i'm no photographer, but i think i'm getting better at using my hubby's dslr, if i do say so myself ((and i did say so)). it's difficult to take a bad photo when your model is this good looking, though. am i right?

see? hannnnnnndsome. he's all mine, ladies.

and that wall? GAH. i love how you can tell its been at least 5 different colors in the past. how beautiful is that? we all have so many different titles, wear so many hats & go through so many different phases in our lives. we make mistakes & mess up often. why cover them up?

i love the faded & beat up colors shining through. our mistakes, sins, and screw ups make up our story. we should never try to hide our past, but instead rejoice in the fact that God's grace & mercy covers all those "colors" you were before you came to know Him.

...but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more.
