While we were at Creative Estates, some of my blog friends and I were drooling over all of the gorgeous headbands at the Whippy Cake booth. We all wanted one, but had a difficult time picking which one and I randomly threw out ((halfway joking, halfway serious)) "well, why don't all buy a different one, wear it for a month and then mail it to the next person until it makes its rounds?"
We all agreed and thought it would be fun to make a little blog series out of it. We will post photos with our whippy cake, send it to the next girl on the list, and then take photos with THAT one, and so on and so forth. I'm excited to see how each sweet gal styles their headband and how they create an outfit around a headband.
Fun, right?!
Outfit details:
Headband: Whippy Cake, duh!
Lace Tunic: Forever21
Cuff Watch: Fossil
Jeans: Paige ((from Anthro))
Boots: Ariat ((from a Western store))
I bought the Twiggy ((up-close below)), which was a pretty appropriate choice considering my "earth-toned self." Call me granola, whatever...I live in the mountains for crying out loud. I love neutrals!
So far, I've worn it:
1. Taken off the headband and clipped next to a side-bun.
2. Clipped onto a scarf.
3. As a normal headband.
4. Like I did above..."hippie style" ;)
I can't wait to wear the other ones!
Make sure you head on over to the following blogs to see the other participants wearing their whippy cakes!
love.
