a new place

Moving is stressful, to say the least. But isn't it fun to decorate a new place? I'm loving "nesting" in a place that will be our home for at least 21 months. A little vintage, a little anthro, a little handmade action, new furniture from west elm, and some oldies ((like the paintings above the sofa! painted those when we first got married, but i still *love* them)).

Last night we had a housewarming party and it was a blast ((and I didn't take a single photo! gasp)). Looking forward to having more get-togethers here.

Here are a couple sneak peeks! More photos to come soon.

((can't wait to hang stockings on this mantle!))

What's your favorite decorative item in your home?

love.

  7. I love it!!! Especially love that giant Texas map over the fireplace. I used to have an old, wrinkly Texas map and now I can't find it. Super bummed.

  11. well, after finishing it this weekend, my favorit will be a found mirror turned chalkboard with cork on the bottom that will hang in our kitchen, in a handmixed paint color i call "happy green". :) Also, where did you find those yellow flower bud stems (that look kinda fuzzy and soft), are they real? I love them! I'd love to add some to my home.

ps. your home is TOO CUTE!
