seattle or bust

Chase & I are off to seattle today! We are taking a couple of college students that attend The Well to this college conference at Mars Hill. I'm SO excited! I'm so looking forward to being led in worship by King's Kaleidoscope, hearing the Word brought by Mark Driscoll and other solid folks, and spending New Years in a fun place ((with lots of coffee in the mix)).

We went to Seattle in the Spring of 2010 and I loved it. Click here to check out the post from that trip.

What are your favorite spots in Seattle?
We'll definitely be hitting up Cupcake Royale, Top Pot Donuts & Cherry Street Coffee House. Yum Yum Yum. To top it all off, we'll be spending New Year's Eve at a semi-formal masquerade party! How fun is that?

Have a Happy New Year, Y'all!

love.

  1. We live north of Seattle...and some of the touristy things that are fun...how about the Fremont Troll? That is a cool area of town, the Fremont area. Of course I would say Pike Street Market and the monorail of course. Did you know that across the street from Pike Street Market is the very FIRST Starbucks? It is just a little one right across the street and it is so weird to think how big Starbucks is now! I hope you have an amazing time visiting. :)

GREEN LAKE! go for a run in Seattle's most popular park. stop by the best running store across the street-- Super Jock N'Jill. (my hubby is the shoe buyer there.)

get a coffee at one of Starbucks' busiest stores in the world! ha :) or hit up a delicious indie coffee shop revolutions one block up.
