I was so excited to have been chosen to participate in Bloomerie Fabric's not so scrappy challenge. I received a gorgeous bundle of fabrics and was so excited to get sewing! I decided to sew something to wear. (shocker, right?)
I stitched together a skirt portion and a bodice making a vertical stripe pattern with the fabrics. I used the other fabric to make a halter strap and used a solid purple kona cotton from my stash for the remainder of the dress.
I love how it turned out! It will be perfect with my coral TOMS this summer.
Also? It started snowing 10 minutes after we took this photo. Yikes. Spring, please come soon.
love.
