outfit schmoutfit: a little neon, a little color block

 Necklace & Tank: Anthropologie
Maxi Skirt: Handmade
Watch & Belt: Fossil
Sandals: Target

I had fun with some color blocking this weekend, if you can't tell. I love the effect of tucking a flowy tank or blouse into a high waisted maxi. It's effortless looking & a little bohemian. My handmade maxi skirt collection is growing and growing and I don't mind it one bit. They cost about $5 to make, are SO easy to make & pull an outfit together with...and ummm I don't have to shave my legs. Amen.

love.

  2. That's why I love maxi dresses/skirts too - you still look pulled together without the need to make your legs all smooth. Lazy. haha

I love colorblocking. Nicely done :) Looks fab on ya!

  3. Super cute! Is the fabric you use jersey? & if so is there a good site or store you get it from?

  16. I LOVE this look! It almost looks like a maxi dress I saw at Target today...even though I know it's a top and skirt. When are these skirts going to be available, ps?!
