((outfit schmoutfit)) georgia peach turned colorado peach

I received this dress from Kintage and my brain went straight to a million different ways to style it. It's so timeless and fun, with it's precious teensy little polka dots and I'm not much of a pink girl...so this peachy-keen dress was a stretch for me! However, I just really love the silhouette and the peach was the perfect feminine tone.

Today, I wanted to show you a couple ways I styled it!

This is just a simple little way to let the dress speak for itself. I tied the sash that came with it in a cute little bow and just added a statement necklace for kicks. I was feelin' the retro look, so I just for it and added glasses too. Fun, huh?!
Are you tired of these shoes yet? Sheesh. It seems to be the only shoes I'm allowed to wear on outfit posts. It's just a coincidence, promise.

I had to challenge myself and NOT let myself just throw on a chambray button down over this and tie it at the waist. This resulted in layering one of my favorite skirts on top, adding a belt, some boots, and LOVING the outcome.

look one:
dress: c/o kintage // wedges: dsw // necklace: banana republic

look two:
dress: c/o kintage // belt: anthropologie // skirt: dillard's // boots: target

YOU, MY PRECIOUS READERS, CAN RECEIVE 15% OFF YOUR PURCHASE AT KINTAGE THROUGH JULY 31st. HOP TO IT!
(( i highly recommend the georgia peach dress. *wink* ))

Tell me:
How do you get more wear//styling options out of your dresses?

love.

  1. I never thought of putting a skirt over a dress! Which is funny, because I have been known to put a top over a dress so you just see the skirt.
    Super cute look, as always!

  2. Love the skirt layered over it!!! Gives the skirt a lot of fullness and makes it super girly. What a cute idea.

  10. This dress is so sweet! I usually wear my summer dresses all through the year by layering sweaters so it looks like a skirt. And of course adding tights :)
