((outfit schmoutfit)) versatile staples

I hardly ever purchase or wear black apparel. I'm just more of a brown/oatmeal gal, I suppose. However, this dress has become probably the most versatile item in my wardrobe, second to my chambray pearl snap of course! The high-low hem keeps it from being just a boring maxi and I can't wait to show you all the fun ways I've styled it.

(read: I wear these items way more often than I should)

Anywho, this handbag is also such an easy way to add a pop of color. It holds SO much and will be a great transition bag into the fall. My fabric & handle bags are, no lie, the sturdiest bags I've ever owned. ((USE THE CODE OSJ20 for 20% OFF!))

necklace & dress - anthropologie
chambray button down - thrifted
sandals - target (hand-me-down from my mom, years ago)

love.

  2. I love this look! I have a black midlength-sundress and I've definitely been guilty of wearing WAY too much in the summer :) and those bags are so cute! love the weekend tote!

  3. I've had a serious thing against the high-low hem (no particular reason; I'm just funny like that), but I'm beginning to rethink that....
