I was anti what I call "double denim" foreverrrrr. In fact, I'm fairly certain I was in a Facebook group ((when those existed)) called, "Just Say No to Double Denim." Anytime I thought about it or saw people wearing "double denim" I couldn't help but see it this way:
Oh, the humanity.
But people, in a weak moment...I just felt like it worked, so I went for it.
Here it is...

((for the record, I broke it up with a brown raglan tee and added lots of accessories to distract everyone from what was really going on))

Even when looking around blogworld, I don't normally like denim + denim in the same outfit. But yours looks amazing! It's seriously the best one I've seen so far. What a lovely fall outfit!

ReplyDeleteI think the breaking up with the shirt, and the scarf, help avoid the canadian tuxedo. I've been wearing my chambray shirt with colored/black skinny jeans so it's secretly a denim on denim disguised as fashion ;)
