adventures at the flea market

This past weekend, I went thrifting for the first time in such a long time! Unfortunately, I didn't find anything that had to come home with me, but those vintage lunch boxes catch my eye every time. I did find an amazing globe that the water was a dark, rich blue - almost navy - instead of light blue or aqua, but alas...it wasn't for sale.

Don't want to dig through dirty stuff? Check out some of these great vintage shops on etsy who have done all the grunt work for ya ;)

love.

  1. Love that scale. It reminds me of my Nannie. And too bad about the globe, it sounds like a gem too!

  2. Love that pyrex dish! We don't have any flea markets in our town but we do have lots of thrift shops and when it warms up - garage sales!! ;) I just found your blog through Twitter and I love it! So fun! Happy Tuesday! :) em @ http://couplejones.com

  6. Cool pictures! Just make sure to carefully look over anything from a flea market or thrift shop. My husband and I just had a terrible bed bug incident that led to us having to move (and re-buy most of our furniture).
