I started blogging in 2007, and after I reopened my Etsy shop in 2009, it evolved into thehandmadegiftguide.com where I have blogged for 4 years about ...wait for it.... handmade gifts! I also adore vintage & independent designers and shops, so I started a new blog, Indie Lovely, to host my interactive digital magazine of the same name. I feature seasonal make and takes, project ideas & tutorials, indie shopping, blogs/shops/sites I love, my cool & crafty friends, and snippets from the amazing Detroit craft scene. I am a graphic designer and business consultant, so the blogs and magazine are a fun way for me to share my addiction to photoshop + handmade + indie shopping all at once.
My current loves :: gluten & dairy free cupcakes, photography, making art, crochet, my family, thrift store shopping, vintage, pyrex, anything golden orange, smashbooking, tea, yarn, Detroit, nature, embroidery, upcycling, craft shows, instagram.
