blame it all on my roots, i showed up in boots ((outfit schmoutfit))

There's just something about lace and cowboy boots. It's surely my inner Texan that loves this combination. I wanted to wear this skirt with these boots, but didn't want to look tooooo country, if ya know what I mean. The chambray pearl snap obviously wasn't helping, so I ditched it. I was trying for a bit more of a bohemian look and I'm not sure I accomplished it, but it's all good. I think the pop of red is perfect for a white on white outfit, don't you?

These boots are from Retail Therapy, a great affordable boutique that is in Crested Butte and also here in Boulder on Pearl Street. They offer incredible deals on their facebook page too, so if you're local and like free blowouts when you purchase a dress and such...give them a like! If you want yourself a pair of these beauties, give them a call and they will gladly take your order over the phone and ship them to you. The best part? They come in turquoise too. Picking my color may or may not have been a harder decision than naming our son.   The phone number can be found on their contact page.

  4. I agree - the denim top would have been a bit much, but this is a very cute look :) I always wish I could pull off cowboy boots but it'll never happen - just doesn't suit me. Love these on you, though!

You look great, indeed - nevermind the fact that your sweet boy is only, what, 6 weeks old!!
