((handmade monday: recipe)) pumpkin beer cocktail recipe

A couple of months ago, a friend came over for dinner when Autumn was just starting to peek it's head around the corner. She brought ingredients to make a "beer-tail" and I was baffled as to what she meant. She mixed some pumpkin beer and sparkling apple cider together, added a cinnamon stick and some cinnamon on top. DE-LISH. So, although I made the most minor of tweaks, my girl Corbin gets the credit for this.

All you need is:
A pumpkin beer ((SO many to choose from this time of year))
Sparkling Apple Cider
Hard Apple Cider ((Angry Orchard or Woodchuck are both great))
Cinnamon Sticks
Pumpkin pie spice
Optional - Garnishes for the rim*

You can definitely just make this to taste for your preferences, but I did the following:
3 parts pumpkin beer
2 parts hard apple cider
1 part sparkling cider
Add a cinnamon stick to infuse the flavor into the beverage
Top with a dash of pumpkin pie spice to add some pizzazz and aroma to the fizz on top.
Add your ((optional)) garnish, if you'd like.

Cheers!

*garnish options
an apple slice
a cinnamon stick
a pumpkin (just kidding)
a pumpkin candy corn thing would be cute on a swizzle stick!

love.
